In this video I will share a proven formula to follow when answering the most popular interview question, "tell me about yourself." You will learn what not to address when answering this question and a 3 step formula to follow. 

There are a lot of possible answers to this question, but I will show you how to answer this question confidently so you can impress the recruiters and the hiring managers. When recruiters and hiring managers ask you to tell me about yourself in interview it is important to note three things. You don't need to start with my name is. Secondly, focus on your professional experiences not your personal experiences. Third, don't spend forever or too long talking about positions you had that are not recent or relevant to the position you are applying and interviewing for. 

Ground rules to follow when answering this question is to focus on the following areas-
Past: Give a high level overview of the positions you have had give a snapshot of your work history.
Present: Give a snapshot of the role you're currently in and how it aligns with the role you're interviewing for. Then tell the employer you know what they are looking for.
Future: Tell them you are what they are looking for.
