About Me
I studied communications in college, specifically marketing and advertising. But when I graduated and got my first job I quickly realized I didn’t want to do advertising. I wanted to work with people and not create ads on a computer all day. So I left the advertising agency and got a job in insurance, and quickly learned that was an even further direction from what I wanted to be doing.
So I took a step back, I wrote out my ‘dream job’ and what it would look like. All signs pointed to being a recruiter. I applied for jobs all over the US and ended up accepting a role with one of the largest recruiting firms in the world! I loved it.
In the beginning of my recruiting career a majority of my work was specializing in our new graduate program, I visited career fairs, did mock interviews and gave presentations on campuses. I was ultimately the lead for hiring all new graduates into our company.
Then as I became a mom of 2 and didn’t want to travel as much. I transitioned to working with Fortune 500 companies hiring everything from manager level to C-suite level roles. I’ve done it all.
I have worked with hundreds of hiring managers and thousands of candidates. I know that so many candidates don’t even get a chance because their resume is lacking, or they mess up their first interview and are eliminated from the process because they were nervous.
That’s why I have decided to branch out into career coaching. I am now helping those in the job search, or those feeling lost in their career but don’t know what to do. I am sharing exactly what hiring managers and recruiters are looking for.
I’m excited to share my knowledge and experiences with you to help you get hired in a career you will love.
