Questions To Ask The Interviewer In A Job Interview

In this video I help you prepare for you next interview by giving you great questions to ask the interviewer at the end of your interview.

It raises concern for the interviewer when you don't ask questions. Follow these simple steps and you will ask great questions at the end of the interview that will make you look like a strong and valuable candidate.

Your questions should help give you clarity about the job by giving you information about the following 3 areas:

1. Insight into your day to day responsibilities and their expectations of you

2. Insight into the company culture and the team or the people you would be working with

3. Insight into the whole interview process and what the next steps will be

By asking these types of questions you will get a lot of information from the hiring manager and the recruiter that will help you in the interview process and help you if you land the job offer.

There are types of questions that you should NOT ask.

1. Do not ask questions that have a simple 'yes' or 'no' answer. Ask questions that will spark conversation.

2. Do not ask questions that do not pertain to the job you would be doing. For example, do not ask the recruiter what they do on a day-to-day basis.

Remember who you are speaking with and tailor your questions around them and you then the questions you ask at the end of the interview with benefit you more.
